The corner where the canyon turns
Two rooms rather than one: a bedroom set deep into the rock face, and a sitting room that pushes out onto the ridge with glass on two sides. Between them, an open hearth that we lay every afternoon in the cold months.
The bath sits under the west window on purpose. From about six in the evening the canyon below fills with shadow while the far wall stays lit, and that takes roughly the length of a long soak.

Good to know
Rooms are ready from 15:00 and we ask for the key back by 11:00. Arriving earlier is fine — leave your bags at reception and start with the bath house, which opens at six.
Free to cancel or move up to 72 hours before arrival. Inside 72 hours the first night is charged. Between 20 December and 3 January the window extends to 14 days.
A rollaway bed for one child under twelve fits comfortably in the sitting room, at $45 per night including breakfast. Cots are free. The bath house is adults-only before 10:00.
Breakfast, unlimited bath house access, the Thursday cellar tasting, all guided dawn walks, and parking. There is no resort fee — the rate you see is the rate you pay before tax.
