Free to cancel or move up to 72 hours before arrival. Inside that window we charge the first night. Between 20 December and 3 January the notice period is 14 days.

Two nights at weekends between April and October, and three nights over public holidays. Midweek there is no minimum at all, and single nights are often the best value.

Yes, in every room. Cots are free and a rollaway is $45 a night including breakfast. The bath house is adults-only until 10:00, and the dining room seats children at the first sitting.

Dogs stay in the Garden Casita and Solstice Villa only, at $40 a night. They are welcome on every walk and on the terrace, but not in the dining room or the bath house.

The Orchard Room is step-free from the car park with wide doors and a roll-in shower. Reception, the dining room and one thermal pool are all step-free. The upper terraces and four of the walk routes are not; call us and we'll be straight with you about what works.

Fibre wi-fi reaches every room at around 400 Mbps. Mobile signal is patchy on the ridge and non-existent on most of the walks — which a fair number of guests count as a feature.
